Just arrived is this immaculate and rust-free example of the ultra-collectible W113 Chassis SL convertible from Mercedes-Benz, a (final year of production) one thousand nine hundred seventy one 280 SL "Pagoda" in very good condition cosmetically and mechanically, and with what we strongly believe to be 64K original miles. It is entirely finish and mostly as it came from the factory, and runs and drives far better than most. The interior is original with the exception of the radio (a vintage Blaupunkt cassette) and dash color, and the exterior was painted utterly well but in the non-original color (white). The chrome and brightwork are in exceptional condition inwards and out, and the weatherstrip is soft and decent. The soft top is in very good condition, and the original hard top is still with the car. It has matching numbers, and is tooled with the desirable 4-speed transmission and under-dash AC unit. The underneath is in exceptional condition with no rust to be found anywhere – it has been garaged and never seen a salty winter. It drives amazingly well.
